Founder & On-Site Operator, Seven Feathers
Amy brings 30+ years of experience in operations, systems design, and human-centered work. She has held roles across legal operations, nonprofit program management, community advocacy, and executive support, consistently simplifying systems for greater efficiency and building trust in high-accountability environments.
Under her management, the existing rental property increased revenue by 232% in one year, even with limited platform access and no capital for upgrades. After one year of managing this property, the owner invited Amy to take on three additional short-term rentals, two of which are glamping sites with a pavilion and shared bathhouse, a setup closely aligned with the Seven Feathers model.
A certified Reiki Master with a degree in psychology, Amy is the full-time on-site operator handling logistics, guest experience, and property stewardship. She designed and built the Seven Feathers website, is assembling an advisory board, and is now actively seeking investment partners.
30+ years managing budgets, cross-sector teams, and complex logistics in legal, nonprofit, and community environments.
232% revenue increase in first year of STR management, with limited resources and platform restrictions.
Full-time resident operator, eliminating management fees (typically 15–25% of gross revenue) and ensuring the personal touch behind the 4.96-star rating.
Seven Feathers is a single, intentional property designed to deepen its offerings, grow its revenue streams, and become a stronger asset with each season.
A full-scale medicinal herb garden, seasonal planting workshops, and a contemplative garden for meditation. Guests leave not just rested, but with knowledge and seeds they can take home.
Alpacas, gentle and naturally calming, added to the existing homestead flock. Animal encounters, fiber arts workshops, and the kind of presence that softens people the moment they arrive.
A scholarship fund making retreat experiences accessible to those who need them most. Sliding-scale pricing for local community members, and partnerships with regional nonprofits.
Farm-to-table dining with local growers, on-site services from local wellness practitioners, and artisan workshops. The retreat's success benefits the people and businesses around it.
Each of these additions creates a new bookable experience, strengthens the guest return rate, and increases the property's long-term value. This is a business that gets better the longer it operates.

A Place of Sacred Return
Operating property · 4.96 Airbnb rating · 232% revenue growth · Values-led
An invitation to invest in something that reflects who you are. Nearly ten acres in the Blue Ridge, being built with intention as a place of restoration, community, and deep rest, and generating real revenue while it grows.
Some investments are purely financial. This one is rooted in land, in values, and in a vision that people are hungry for. Nine and a half acres in the mountains, where the creek never stops running and the birdsong starts before you do.
A year-round creek, mature hardwoods, natural boulders, and wildflowers. The kind of land that asks you to slow down.
Dark mountain skies, fireflies that turn the meadow into something magical in summer, and the kind of quiet that lets you hear yourself again.
An actively operating rental with a 4.96-star rating, already beloved by guests who come back season after season. Proven, not promised.
The land came to me with a responsibility I feel in my bones. My indigenous roots run deep, and they shape how I build: with integrity, with sustainability, and with future generations in mind. Seven Feathers is a commitment to the land and to the people it welcomes.
Beyond nightly rentals, Seven Feathers will serve independent retreat facilitators who need a dedicated, private space for their work. This is the revenue stream that sets the property apart, and the reason the wellness market is paying attention.
Facilitators bring their own groups. Seven Feathers provides the space, the beds, the kitchen, and the care. Every booking fills the property at higher rates with minimal additional effort.
The guest dwellings at Seven Feathers are Zomes, geometric structures rooted in the zonohedron, one of the oldest forms in sacred geometry. There is something about round spaces that changes how people feel the moment they step inside.
Built on the zonohedron, a form found in nature's own architecture. Round spaces have been used for ceremony, gathering, and rest across cultures for millennia. Guests consistently describe the feeling as different, softer, more centered.
Zomes are free from harmful substances, fumes, and chemicals. Bio-ceramic MgO panels create a safe, non-toxic sanctuary. No off-gassing, no volatile compounds, just a clean space for rest and renewal.
Renewable materials with a low carbon footprint. Nearly zero waste during production. Zero dead trees. No heavy machinery required for assembly. Built in 5 to 10 days on a non-permanent foundation, leaving the land beneath untouched.
Fireproof to 2,200°F, waterproof, mold-proof, pest-proof, and rated for 140 MPH winds. No gutters to clean, no roof to repair. These structures protect what matters, quietly and for the long term.

Seven Feathers is a place designed to help people return to themselves.
Amy Rohan is a certified Usui Reiki Master with a degree in psychology and more than 25 years of experience working with individuals and families through life's most challenging seasons, including over a decade supporting survivors of domestic violence, trafficking, and sexual abuse.
That work shaped everything about how Seven Feathers is built: trauma-informed care, consent woven into everything, and a deep belief that sovereignty over your own body, spirit, and path is non-negotiable.
Reiki sessions are already offered to cottage guests and will be fully integrated into the retreat experience. Healing circles, forest bathing walks, and stargazing evenings are part of the growing programming, all optional, all grounded in the same principle: you are whole, and this place simply creates the conditions for you to remember that.
These principles shape every decision we make, from how we welcome guests to how we tend this land. Tap a feather to learn more.
Whether you arrive as a spiritual seeker, someone needing rest, or someone carrying something you have not yet named, you will be met with the same respect.
We enter into relationships with guests, partners, and the land with mutual care. We support local businesses, build fair partnerships, and tend what gives to us.
Like the land after rain, we are always capable of becoming ourselves again. Seven Feathers creates the conditions for that return.
Seven Feathers exists within a living web of relationships. When you visit, you are supporting a community, not just a business.
You belong here with your dog, your grief, your curiosity, or your joy. Belonging is your birthright, and this door is open to you.
Your body, your spirit, your path. Trauma-informed care and consent are woven into everything at Seven Feathers. No one here will tell you what you need. You already know.
You are worthy, exactly as you are. Every person, every animal, every piece of this land deserves dignity. We price our offerings to be accessible to everyone.
The phased expansion covers the first four years. But the vision extends well beyond, toward a retreat deeply rooted in its community, accessible to all who need restoration, and alive with the rhythms of the land.
Restoration belongs to everyone. A scholarship fund making retreat experiences accessible to those who need them most, with sliding-scale pricing and nonprofit partnerships.
Farm-to-table dining with local farms, on-site services from local bodyworkers, and artisan workshops. The retreat's success benefits the people around it.
A full-scale medicinal herb garden, seasonal planting and harvest workshops, and a contemplative garden for meditation. Guests leave with knowledge and seeds they can take home.
Alpacas, gentle, calming, and naturally calming, added to the existing homestead flock. Animal encounters, fiber arts workshops, and the kind of presence that softens people the moment they arrive.
Everything in this long-term vision serves the same purpose: deepening the retreat experience, strengthening the local community, and making restoration more accessible. The retreat's ultimate measure of success goes beyond revenue. It is the number of people who leave this land feeling more like themselves than when they arrived.
"The cabin was truly relaxing, nestled perfectly in the trees by a creek. Waking up to the sound of birds and the creek, breathing in the fresh air, and disconnecting from the rush of everyday life was such a gift."
"Amy was so friendly and my daughter enjoyed a Reiki session with her."
"When we got snowed in we received eggs from the onsite host Amy, who was amazing and very helpful. The views as well as location is a dream come true!"
"The guest house was the perfect place to relax and recharge. I absolutely love this house and outdoor space. It's my dream."
We believe in sharing the full financial picture openly. These numbers are built from real occupancy rates, real nightly rates, and conservative projections updated quarterly as real data becomes available.
Three unique accommodations (the cottage plus two Zome structures) listed across Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and direct booking channels. Steady income across all seasons.
Full-site rentals for independent facilitators running workshops, wellness retreats, women's circles, and group experiences. Premium multi-day bookings that scale beyond one person's calendar.
Founder & On-Site Steward, Seven Feathers
Amy founded Seven Feathers by taking stock of what she already had: land with a rare, quiet power; decades of experience guiding and caring for people; and an innate sense of how to hold space for healing. She built from those gifts intentionally, creating a place where both land and practice meet to help people slow down, heal, and reconnect.
With more than 25 years of experience across legal operations, nonprofit programs, and community care, Amy has managed complex budgets, led cross-sector teams, and collaborated with legal, financial, and community partners in high-accountability environments. Yet the work that shaped her most happened one-on-one, supporting individuals and families through life's most challenging seasons.
Under her management, the existing rental property increased revenue by 232% in one year, even with limited platform access and no capital for upgrades. She creates spaces where respect, sovereignty, and belonging are felt in every detail.
30+ years of experience, from legal operations to community advocacy, all in service of people navigating hard seasons.
Usui Reiki practitioner with a degree in psychology, integrating energy work into the guest experience.
Amy lives on the property full-time. The personal, attentive hospitality behind the 4.96-star rating comes directly from her. It is who she is.
We are looking for partners who see the vision, believe in the values, and want to be part of building something that lasts, while earning a meaningful return along the way. The best agreements are built around what each person brings and what they need in return.
Equity, revenue share, or loan, structured around what works for you. All arrangements include transparent quarterly reporting and a formal operating agreement.
Skills, networks, labor, materials, and expertise are all forms of real value. Marketing, construction, wellness facilitation, or network connections all have a place here.
All partners receive preferred access to Seven Feathers each year, whether for personal rest or to host their own retreat. Complimentary stays, venue rental discounts, and priority booking, scaled to partnership level.
If this vision speaks to something in you, we would love to hear from you. Tell us what draws you here, what questions you have, and what kind of partnership feels right. The best investments start with a real conversation.
